Why I Create

I didn't set out to start a skincare brand. I set out to find something that worked — something clean, effective, and honest. Something I could put on my skin and my family's skin without wondering what it was quietly doing to our hormones, our health, or our bodies over time.

I couldn't find it.

What I found instead were products full of synthetic fragrance, harsh surfactants, and ingredients I didn't trust. Products that stripped more than they gave. That smelled beautiful but came at a cost I wasn't willing to pay.

So I did something about it. I trained, studied, and became a Certified Organic Skincare Formulator. Then I started making my own.

Facial oils. Balms. pH-balanced shampoo bars. Cold-process soaps. Formulated from scratch, with botanical ingredients I understood and believed in — scented only with pure essential oils, never synthetic fragrance — designed to genuinely nourish, not just perform on a shelf.

When it worked — when my skin felt truly cared for, when my family's skin responded the way I'd hoped — I felt something I hadn't expected: peace of mind. Not just softer skin. Actual peace of mind.

That feeling is what Merfu Organics is built on. Every product we make exists because I refused to settle for less for my family — and I refuse to offer you anything less either.

    Great facial oil, especially for summer! I love this oil. It is a nice thinner, lightweight oil perfect for warmer weather when you don't want anything heavy. It works well underneath makeup during the day. I use a powder foundation. I left the oil absorb for about 10 minutes before applying the makeup and it went on smoothly and evenly. When you apply it in the morning before sunscreen, your skin looks healthy all day and feels more protected from dryness and irritation caused by the sun — and sometimes even from sunscreen itself. You never know; some sunscreens can dehydrate your skin.
